Through Christ you have come to trust in God. And you have placed your faith and hope in God because he raised Christ from the dead and gave him great glory.

The very foundation of our faith and confidence in God is the resurrection of our Lord Jesus. Through His resurrection Jesus overcame death, sin, sickness, lack, depression, and every other consequence that came with the fall. As believers we are never trying to get to a place of victory; we always start from a place of victory! Our victory was won two thousand years ago; and our task becomes to appropriate by faith everything Jesus has already done for us.
