Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit.
1 John 4:13 (KJV)
God has joined us to Himself through His Spirit that dwells on the inside of every Believer. Now the Holy Spirit in us will teach us and guide us through the Word of God. He will make the truths of the Word real to our hearts and enable us to walk more fully as who God has called us to be.
I’ll put my Spirit in you and make it possible for you to do what I tell you and live by my commands.
Ezekiel 36:27 (MSG)
This is the power of grace at work in us, and it lifts the pressure off of our shoulders. Our trust and dependence are upon God’s Spirit working in us through His Word, transforming us, giving us the faith we need, and empowering us to become all He has created us to be.
And he led them forth by the right way, that they might go to a city of habitation.
Psalm 107:7 (KJV)
God will always lead us by the right way. When we follow the leading of the Holy Spirit, He will lead us in the way of God’s perfect will for our lives. Our role is to trust Him and to follow His promptings. And the will of God for us is to see His goodness and favor coming to pass.
And the LORD shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.
Isaiah 58:11 (KJV)
There is a continual wellspring of life available as we keep our eyes on Jesus, realizing that He alone is our strength, our source, our comforter, and our provider. When we daily fellowship with God and let His Word fill our hearts, we will find ourselves equipped to not only handle all that we are called to do, but we also become a spring of life through which the light of Christ can flow into our world.
So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus.
Romans 8:1 (NLT)
There is no condemnation as a result of us being in Christ Jesus. In Christ God sees us as holy and blameless through being joined to His Son. Condemnation must flee from our own hearts as we embrace our identity in Christ and receive the immeasurable gift of God’s love for us.
In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
Proverbs 3:6 (KJV)
When we make it our practice to keep our attention and focus on God through His Word, we will find ourselves being more receptive to the guidance and direction of the Holy Spirit. When we acknowledge God in all things, He will direct our paths into the good He has already prepared for us.
