You Are Living In God’s Favor (2 Corinthians 6:2)

“In the time of my favor I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you.” I tell you, now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation.

2 Corinthians 6:2 (NIV)

The moment we received salvation through receiving Jesus as Savior and Lord, we entered into the favor of God. Let us remember every day that we are now living in God’s favor and that, as a result, everything we need has been made available to us. We can trust God to show Himself strong in the different areas of our life.

You Are Righteous By Faith (Romans 4:3)

For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.

Romans 4:3 (KJV)

We are righteous not because of our works, but as a result of us believing God. It is faith in the finished works of Jesus Christ that makes us one hundred percent righteous. And it is out of believing our identity in Christ Jesus that we bear fruit in our lives. Right believing will always lead to right living.

The Gift Of Wisdom (James 1:5)

If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.

James 1:5 (NKJV)

Wisdom is the ability to use knowledge rightly. It is a grace gift from God and it is freely available to us. Trust today that with the Holy Spirit’s help you will know what to do at all times as you walk in God’s perfect will for your life.

Remember His Goodness (Psalm 143:5)

I remember the days of old; I meditate on all Your works; I muse on the work of Your hands.

Psalm 143:5 (NKJV)

It is powerful to bring to our remembrance all that God has already done. When we meditate on how good God has been to us in the past, it raises our expectation for the future. Let’s never take for granted how far He has brought us, and rejoice in anticipation of the good that is to come!

Jesus Makes Us Whole (Acts 9:34)

And Peter said unto him, Aeneas, Jesus Christ maketh thee whole: arise, and make thy bed. And he arose immediately.

Acts 9:34 (KJV)

A key to receiving healing is this truth: Jesus is the one who makes us whole! This means we must know that sickness is not of God, but that God is the Healer. When we stand on this with confidence and with expectancy, we open ourselves to seeing supernatural healing in our lives and in the lives of people we are called to pray for.

Speak Words Of Life (1 Peter 3:10-11)

For he who would love life and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips from speaking deceit. Let him turn away from evil and do good; let him seek peace and pursue it.

1 Peter 3:10-11 (NKJV)

As we deliberately fill our hearts with God’s Word and as we allow the love of Jesus to saturate us, we will find our words coming into alignment with life and peace. Let us be mindful of the tremendous power of our tongue, and let us purpose in our hearts to speak only words of life.

Obedience To The Faith (Romans 1:5)

By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name:

Romans 1:5 (KJV)

Obedience in the new covenant is obedience to the faith. Rather than trying to live by the law, our obedience is our commitment to right believing. We are obedient when we believe what God says about us which enables the Holy Spirit to work on the inside of us, shaping us more fully into who God has called us to be.
