Taught Of God To Love (1 Thessalonians 4:9)

But as touching brotherly love ye need not that I write unto you: for ye yourselves are taught of God to love one another.

1 Thessalonians 4:9 (KJV)

God indwelling us by His Holy Spirit compels us to want to love one another. As we follow the leading of the Holy Spirit who is at work in us, we will find ourselves being led more fully into living a life of love, kindness and compassion as we receive God’s love for us in Christ.

Holy And Blameless Before Him (Ephesians 1:4)

According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

Ephesians 1:4 (KJV)

In Christ we are holy and blameless before the Father in love, not because of our actions or performance, but as a result of having been made the sons and daughters of God. Now it is God’s love that compels us and enables us to live right. Chains are broken and darkness loses its grip over us, as guilt and condemnation are replaced with the goodness and mercy of God.

Acknowledge Who You Are In Christ Jesus (Philemon 1:6)

That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.

Philemon 1:6 (KJV)

Our faith becomes effectual—it starts working—as we acknowledge the good things that are in us as a result of being in Christ Jesus. The radical truth is that in our born again spirits we have been made just like Jesus. Faith now takes what is already true about us in the spiritual, and it brings it into physical tangible manifestation.

The New Creation In You (Isaiah 65:17-18)

For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind. But be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy.

Isaiah 65:17-18 (KJV)

God wants to shape the new heaven and the new earth in and through the hearts of every born again believer. Our part is to let go of the old, and receive by faith the newness of life that is in Christ Jesus. We then find ourselves filled with a peace and a joy that cannot be shaken; and as we see the promises of God manifesting in our lives, God is able to use us to be a blessing to the people He brings into our path.
