You Are Living In God’s Favor (2 Corinthians 6:2)

“In the time of my favor I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you.” I tell you, now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation.

2 Corinthians 6:2 (NIV)

The moment we received salvation through receiving Jesus as Savior and Lord, we entered into the favor of God. Let us remember every day that we are now living in God’s favor and that, as a result, everything we need has been made available to us. We can trust God to show Himself strong in the different areas of our life.

Jesus Gives Us Rest (Matthew 11:28)

Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Matthew 11:28 (KJV)

Jesus gives us rest because He is our sufficiency, and through His finished works we have full and complete access to the boundless riches and beauties of the kingdom of God. And so whatever your need may be today, be sure to take it to the Lord, fellowship with Him, and thank Him that in Him your need is met. Faith gives us access to all that the grace of God has already made available.

Jesus Gives Us Rest (Matthew 11:28)

Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Matthew 11:28 (KJV)

These words of Jesus remind us that when we come to Christ, we are invited to enter into rest. Jesus gives us rest because He is our sufficiency, and through His finished works we have full and complete access to the boundless riches and beauties of the kingdom of God. And so whatever your need may be today, be sure to take it to the Lord, fellowship with Him, and thank Him that in Him your need is met. Expecting The Favor Of God (2 Corinthians 6:2)

“In the time of my favor I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you.” I tell you, now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation.

2 Corinthians 6:2 (NIV)

Let us realize that we are right in this very moment living in God’s favor. As the Scripture says, now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation. And so may we go forth every day, reminded that God is looking to be good to us, confident that we will see the fruits of salvation showing up in our lives. The more expectant we are of seeing God’s goodness, the more are we opening the door for miracles and breakthroughs.

Giving Thanks Always For All Things (Ephesians 5:20)

Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;

Ephesians 5:20 (KJV)

Gratitude can function as a powerful doorway into the heart of God. When we deliberately take time to be grateful for all of God’s blessings in our lives, we are making ourselves more receptive to what the Lord is seeking to do right now. Gratitude also increases our faith, for it reminds us of all that God has already done for us—things that otherwise we could have easily taken for granted. Today, reflect upon all the ways, large and small, that God’s goodness is already at work in your life. Thank Him that He is mightily at work in you, and that He is using even the challenges and temporary obstacles to ultimately bring about a greater manifestation of His grace and goodness.

Trusting God (Proverbs 3:5-6)

Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Proverbs 3:5-6 (KJV)

In times of difficulty, when things don’t make sense, the most powerful thing we can do is to simply purpose in our hearts that we will trust God no matter what. When we know that His plans for us are for good, and that in fact all things work together for good for those who love God, we can then acknowledge that in each and every moment, the Lord is guiding and directing our steps. We can rest assured that our challenges merely become stepping stones that are shaping us and preparing us for our magnificent destiny in the Lord.
