Holy And Blameless Before Him (Ephesians 1:4)

According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

Ephesians 1:4 (KJV)

In Christ we are holy and blameless before the Father in love, not because of our actions or performance, but as a result of having been made the sons and daughters of God. Now it is God’s love that compels us and enables us to live right. Chains are broken and darkness loses its grip over us, as guilt and condemnation are replaced with the goodness and mercy of God.

Encourage One Another (Hebrews 10:24)

And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:

Hebrews 10:24 (KJV)

The overflow of a fruitful relationship with Jesus is that we ought to consider each other, especially fellow Believers, and encourage one another to receive more fully His love which produces the fruit of good works. Key is to keep our attention on Him, which then enables us to share with others what we have received from God.

Speak Words Of Life (1 Peter 3:10-11)

For he who would love life and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips from speaking deceit. Let him turn away from evil and do good; let him seek peace and pursue it.

1 Peter 3:10-11 (NKJV)

Our words come out of what is in our hearts. As we deliberately fill our hearts with God’s Word and as we allow the love of Jesus to saturateĀ us, we will find our words coming into alignment with life and peace. Let us be mindful of the tremendous power of our tongue, and let us purpose in our hearts to speak only words of life.

Choose Love (Romans 13:8)

Owe no one anything except to love one another, for he who loves another has fulfilled the law.

Romans 13:8 (NKJV)

The key to loving is to first receive God’s love for us. The more that we receive His love, the more will we be able to reflect it into our world. May we resolve to live lives of radical love, and in so doing follow the example of the One who loved us first.

Look To Jesus (1 John 3:23)

And this is His commandment: that we should believe on the name of His Son Jesus Christ and love one another, as He gave us commandment.

1 John 3:23 (NKJV)

God’s commandment under the new covenant of grace is for us to simply believe on Jesus. Placing our faith in His finished work enables us to walk in love. We are equipped to love others to the degree that we receive His perfect love for us. The more we look to Jesus and less to ourselves, the more will we walk in everything He has made available to us!

Walk Boldly The Journey Of Faith (1 Chronicles 28:20)

Be strong and of good courage, and do it: fear not, nor be dismayed: for the LORD God, even my God, will be with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.

1 Chronicles 28:20 (KJV)

God’s will for us is to continuously grow in our walk with Him, and to step more fully into all He is calling us to do and be. In this the Spirit of the Lord is with us, in us, and always ready to work through us. So as the Word says, let us not fear nor be dismayed; and let us walk out boldly this journey of faith.

Holy And Blameless Before Him In Love (Ephesians 1:4)

According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

Ephesians 1:4 (KJV)

In Christ we are holy and blameless before the Father in love, not because of our actions or performance, but as a result of having been made the sons and daughters of God. Now it is God’s love that compels us and enables us to live right. Chains are broken and darkness loses its grip over us, as guilt and condemnation are replaced with the goodness and mercy of God.

Led Of The Holy Spirit (Psalm 143:10)

Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness.

Psalm 143:10 (KJV)

God’s spirit in us teaches us to do His will. He helps us to have a revelation of the love, the grace, and the goodness of God, which in turn empowers us to live victorious and godly lives. It is powerful to be led of the Holy Spirit into the land of uprightness.

Be An Instrument If His Love (1 Thessalonians 3:12)

And may the Lord make you increase and abound in love to one another and to all, just as we do to you,

1 Thessalonians 3:12 (NKJV)

Our ability to love people—including those who might be difficult to love—is not based upon our own strength or effort, but it is in direct proportion to our receiving the love of Christ for ourselves. The more that we receive His love, the more will we be able to be channels and instruments of His love for others.
