Draw On His Strength (Isaiah 40:31)

But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Isaiah 40:31 (KJV)

Doing things in our own strength will sooner or later wear us out. Yet when we learn to live lives of total and complete dependence on God we will find ourselves drawing on His strength and His ability. We will be equipped and empowered to thrive and succeed in all we are called to do.

Isaiah 40:31 (KJV)

Doing things in our own strength, relying merely upon what we can accomplish in our own ability, will sooner or later wear us out. Isaiah 40:31 (KJV)

Trusting, relying and depending on God supplies us with supernatural strength and ability. We grow weary when we try to do things in our own strength, relying merely upon what we can accomplish. Yet when we know, “It is not I, but Christ that liveth in me,” we will find ourselves drawing upon His strength and His ability. We will be equipped and empowered to thrive and succeed in all we are called to do.
