Look To God For Strength And Peace (Psalm 29:11)

The LORD will give strength to unto his people; the LORD will bless his people with peace.

Psalm 29:11 (KJV)

God gives us strength and He blesses us with peace, yet the key is for us to remember each day to turn to Him in faith and expectancy. And so let us realize that He is our source for absolutely everything, and that it is in our total and complete dependence upon Him that we actually find our strength, our peace, and anything else we may need.

Psalm 29:11 (KJV)

God has promised to give us strength and to bless us with peace, yet the key is for us to remember each day to turn to Him in faith and expectancy. Looking To God For Strength And Peace (Psalm 29:11)

The LORD will give strength to unto his people; the LORD will bless his people with peace.

Psalm 29:11 (KJV)

The world conditions us into thinking that we must handle everything in our own strength, whereas God wants us to look to Him. He has promised to give us strength and to bless us with peace, yet the key is for us to remember each day to turn to Him in faith and expectancy. And so let us realize that He is our source for absolutely everything, and that it is in our total and complete dependence upon Him that we actually find our strength, our peace, and anything else we may need.

The Excellence Of Knowing Christ (Philippians 3:8)

Yet indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ

Philippians 3:8 (NKJV)

The excellence of knowing Jesus personally and finding fulfillment in Him means the giving up of things we may have previously relied upon for our identity and security, such as status, worldly success and achievements, and instead finding our worth completely in Christ. When Christ alone becomes our treasure—counting all things loss in comparison—we can draw upon His joy, strength and fulfillment regardless of whether we find ourselves on the mountaintop or in the valley.
