Live In The Light Of Christ (Ephesians 5:14)

Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.

Ephesians 5:14 (KJV)

When Christ gives us light we awaken to our identity in Him and we see that everything we need has already been made available by the grace of God. This year, determine to live in complete confidence in God’s purposes for your life, and as you trust, lean, and depend on the Holy Spirit working in you and through you, He will take you to places that exceed your imaginings.

You Are Living In God’s Favor (2 Corinthians 6:2)

“In the time of my favor I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you.” I tell you, now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation.

2 Corinthians 6:2 (NIV)

Let us remember every day that we are living in God’s favor and that, as a result, everything we need has been made available to us. And so as we head into the new year, let’s approach it with the confidence that we can trust God to show Himself strong in all of the different areas of our life.

Remember The Blessing (Psalm 115:15)

Ye are blessed of the LORD which made heaven and earth.

Psalm 115:15 (KJV)

To be blessed means to be empowered to prosper and excel. When we remember that we have the blessing of God who created Heaven and Earth, we cannot help but live in an earnest expectation that we will see His goodness and favor showing up in every area of our life!

Meditate The Word (1 Timothy 4:15)

Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that they profiting may appear to all.

1 Timothy 4:15 (KJV)

To meditate means to think, ponder, consider, or mull over in our minds. Worrying is a negative form of meditation, and it will yield fruit accordingly. Yet when we meditate God’s Word, when we give ourselves wholly over to His promises, we become more receptive to seeing His goodness and glory coming to pass.

“In the time of my favor I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you.” I tell you, now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation.

2 Corinthians 6:2 (NIV)

The moment we received salvation through receiving Jesus as Savior and Lord, we entered into the favor of God. Let us remember every day that we are now living in God’s favor and that, as a result, everything we need has been made available to us. We can trust God to show Himself strong in the different areas of our life.

The Victory Of Faith (1 John 5:4)

For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.

1 John 5:4 (KJV)

The key to living a life of victory is our faith. We use and develop our faith by setting our hearts and minds upon the promises of God, by meditating on them and confessing them until they become real to us. When we are convinced of the reality of something before we can perceive it through our physical senses, we are living in the victory of faith.

Maintain Your Confidence (Hebrews 10:35-36)

Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward. For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise:

Hebrews 10:35-36 (NKJV)

As we maintain our confidence in the finished works of Jesus, we will receive the reward which is to see the promises of God come to pass in our lives. Endurance enables us to remain faithful to God’s will, which puts us in a position of receiving everything He has already made available to us in Christ.
