A Wellspring Of Life (Isaiah 58:11)

And the LORD shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.

Isaiah 58:11 (KJV)

There is a continual wellspring of life available as we keep our eyes on Jesus, realizing that He alone is our strength, our source, our comforter, and our provider. When we daily fellowship with God and let His Word fill our hearts, we will find ourselves equipped to not only handle all that we are called to do, but we also become a spring of life through which the light of Christ can flow into our world.

Finding Our Satisfaction In Jesus (John 4:14)

But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.

John 4:14 (KJV)

Jesus is saying that when we find our satisfaction in Him, we will no longer be tempted to misuse the perishable things of the world as a means to fill that void in the human heart that only God can fill. It is in this spiritual fulfillment, in this finding our joy in the Lord, that we become a wellspring of life. Today, be filled with the love, the peace, the joy and the compassion of Jesus, and let His light shine through you into your world.
