Encourage One Another (Hebrews 10:24)

And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:

Hebrews 10:24 (KJV)

The overflow of a fruitful relationship with Jesus is that we ought to consider each other, especially fellow Believers, and encourage one another to receive more fully His love which produces the fruit of good works. Key is to keep our attention on Him, which then enables us to share with others what we have received from God.

Be Fed By His Word (1 Peter 2:2-3)

As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby: If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious.

1 Peter 2:2-3 (KJV)

The Word of God is the spiritual food for our born again spirit. Just as we require physical food in order to be physically strengthened, so too our recreated spirit requires spiritual food in order to become strong within us. And so let us be fed and nourished by His Word daily, tasting of the joy and the fullness of life that is in Him.

Be A Disciple (John 8:31)

Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;

John 8:31 (KJV)

A disciple is a learner. It is someone who is committed to growing in their walk with the Lord by continuing in His Word. Breakthroughs happen as we keep God’s Word in our hearts and purpose to become more fully who He has created us to be. When we live as disciples, we position ourselves for receiving the fullness of what Jesus has already made available to us.

The Holy Spirit Brings The Word To Our Remembrance (John 14:26)

But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

John 14:26 (KJV)

One of the functions of the Holy Spirit is to bring the things of Jesus to our remembrance. We can be in the midst of turmoil or some kind of unexpected challenge, and the Holy Spirit will be there to gently draw our attention back to the truths of the Word of God. He will remind us of what is true about us in Christ and the victory that has already been won.

Choose Love (Romans 13:8)

Owe no one anything except to love one another, for he who loves another has fulfilled the law.

Romans 13:8 (NKJV)

The key to loving is to first receive God’s love for us. The more that we receive His love, the more will we be able to reflect it into our world. May we resolve to live lives of radical love, and in so doing follow the example of the One who loved us first.

The Holy Spirit Brings The Word To Our Remembrance (John 14:26)

Christ Representatives (Colossians 3:17)

And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

Colossians 3:17 (KJV)

We are to represent Jesus in all that we do. Consider that in our day to day life, in our words and deeds, we are no longer representing ourselves, but but the One who has sent us. How does this affect what we say and do? Today, let us ask for the grace to remember that in all things we are called to be Christ representatives.
