Scriptural confessions are declarations of truth that describe who we are in Christ. These are intended to be spoken out loud with confidence and boldness. They are not meant to replace our regular prayer time and communion with the Lord, but are much rather to be used as an additional spiritual discipline. As you set some time aside throughout the day (a minimum of three times a day is recommended), you will gradually notice a shift within you. The more you declare and confess the Word, the more will it take root in your heart. As you remain consistent, the Holy Spirit will work within you to give you a personal revelation about the Word of God that you are declaring. What you are doing is letting “God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think” Romans 12:2 (NLT), and “bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.” 2 Corinthians 10:5 (KJV)
Bellow you will find a variety of confessions for different areas of your life. Included with each confession is the scriptural passage from which it is taken.
