Speak God’s Word (Proverbs 16:24)

Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones.

Proverbs 16:24 (KJV)

The words we speak can either be pleasant to our soul and bring health to our physical bodies, or similarly our words can bring about sorrow and even sickness. Let us be in the habit of speaking God’s Word over our lives, over the people we encounter, and over situations and circumstances. God’s Word will always bring joy to our souls, and He always confirms His Word with signs and manifestations following.

Walk According To Who You Are In Christ (Galatians 5:16)

This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.

Galatians 5:16 (KJV)

To walk in the Spirit is ultimately a mindset. It is to identify with who we are in Christ rather than with who we used to be in the flesh. When we remember who we are—redeemed, healed, blessed, forgiven and righteous—we gain victory over the fleshly mindset and walk in the good that has already been made available.

The Holy Spirit Guarantees Our Success (2 Corinthians 1:22)

[He has also appropriated and acknowledged us as His by] putting His seal upon us and giving us His [Holy] Spirit in our hearts as the security deposit and guarantee [of the fulfillment of His promise].

2 Corinthians 1:22 (AMP)

The Holy Spirit is God’s security deposit! This means it is actually the Holy Spirit’s job to guarantee that God’s purposes for our lives will come to pass. And so what is required of us is that we learn to live lives of complete dependence on Him where we no longer rely on our own efforts and performance, but we trust the unfailing working of the Spirit of grace in us.

Rest In His Faithfulness (1 Thessalonians 5:24)

Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.

1 Thessalonians 5:24 (KJV)

Whatever promise God has put in our hearts, we can confidently trust in His faithfulness. When we no longer believe we have to make things happen through our own efforts and struggles, but learn to rest in His faithfulness, we become receptive and available to seeing God’s miracle power working in and through our lives.

God’s Spirit In Us (1 John 4:13)

Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit.

1 John 4:13 (KJV)

We have been joined to God through His Spirit. Now the Holy Spirit in us teaches us, guides us, and makes the truths of the Word real to our hearts. This enables us to walk more fully as who God has called us to be.

Let His Word Abide In You (John 15:7)

If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

John 15:7 (KJV)

Abiding in Jesus and letting His Word abide in us sets us up for victory and good success. Our heavenly Father is not withholding anything from us, and our part is to let His Word abide in our hearts. Having the Word rooted in our hearts makes us receptive and available for the favor of God to manifest in our lives!

Perfect Peace (Isaiah 26:3)

Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.

Isaiah 26:3 (KJV)

Perfect peace is the kind of peace that cannot be shaken by circumstances and conditions. This is the kind of peace that comes from knowing whose we are and whom we have believed. Today, keep your mind stayed on God; trust Him, and let His perfect peace fill every fiber of your being.

The Word Established In Our Hearts (Psalm 19:14)

Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.

Psalm 19:14 (KJV)

Let us purpose to have the words of our mouth and the meditations of our heart be in agreement with what God has said about us in His Word. As we mediate on God’s goodness and favor, speaking the Word daily, we establish the truth in our hearts. This makes us receptive and available to seeing it come to pass in our lives.

Seek The Will Of God With Joy (Psalm 40:16)

Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: let such as love thy salvation say continually, The LORD be magnified.

Psalm 40:16 (KJV)

Seeking the will of God for our life is not a burdensome task, nor is it something that will put us in a place of sorrow. In fact, the greatest joy and and the greatest fulfillment lie in seeking and fulfilling God’s purposes for our lives. So let us magnify the Lord with joy in our hearts! He is our sufficiency, and He will always supply us everything we need to do what He’s called us to do.

God Will Direct Your Path (Proverbs 3:6)

In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Proverbs 3:6 (KJV)

When we make it our practice to keep our attention and focus on God through His Word, we will find ourselves being more receptive to the guidance and direction of the Holy Spirit. When we acknowledge God in all things, He will direct our paths into the good He has already prepared for us.
