God is wise in heart and mighty in strength. Who has hardened himself against Him and prospered?
Job 9:4 (NKJV)
A heart hardened towards God is a heart that has become cold and unresponsive towards His goodness, His ways and His promises. Yet as our heart is softened towards Him through His Word, we become available to true prosperity. And true prosperity is defined as success, wholeness and peace in every area of life with nothing missing and nothing broken.
Moreover he said unto me, Son of man, all my words that I shall speak unto thee receive in thine heart, and hear with thine ears.
Ezekiel 3:10 (KJV)
God is telling us to let His Words take root in our hearts. As we hear the Word, meditate on it and speak it out loud, we are receiving it into our hearts. And the supernatural power of the Word of God becomes apparent once it has become a living reality in the heart of a believer!
Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
Romans 8:37 (KJV)
Receiving the unconditional love of God in Christ Jesus makes us more than conquerors no matter what may be coming against us. It is never our self-effort or performance, but receiving His love and mercy that sets us up for success and victory in absolutely every arena of life.
And behold, a leper came and worshiped Him, saying, “Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.” Then Jesus put out His hand and touched him, saying, “I am willing; be cleansed.” Immediately his leprosy was cleansed.
Matthew 8:2-3 (NKJV)
There is no more ambiguity about whether or not it is God’s will to heal. When the leper said to Jesus, “If You are willing,” His response was, “I am willing.” Let us realize that it is God’s will for us to have wholeness in our physical bodies and, as a result of the finished works of Jesus Christ, healing has been made available to all who will believe. Healing, whether physical or emotional, is part of the salvation package.
I remember the days of old; I meditate on all Your works; I muse on the work of Your hands.
Psalm 143:5 (NKJV)
It is powerful to bring to our remembrance all that God has already done. When we meditate on how good God has been to us in the past, it raises our expectation for the future. Let’s never take for granted how far He has brought us, and rejoice in anticipation of the good that is to come!
And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one’s bands were loosed.
Acts 16:25-26 (KJV)
The way we respond in moments of hardship will often determine what the outcome will be. Paul and Silas, when locked up in prison, responded by praising God. As a result a miracle took place which enabled them to escape. When we praise God in the midst of the storm, we make ourselves available to seeing His supernatural power at work in our lives!
Dear Grace World family,
I wanted to take a moment to wish all of you a Merry Christmas!
We have people from all over the world who have subscribed to these blog posts and emails, and so for many of you Christmas may already be over. But nevertheless, I pray that you had a wonderful and blessed time with family and loved ones! And I wanted to share a little video I felt led to make today. These are just some reflections on the true meaning of Christmas. As we know, it is all about Him! Jesus is truly the reason for the season!
And so as we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior, and as we get ready to head into a new year, let’s reflect simply on the goodness of our God. Realize that by sending Jesus into the world, He has made His Grace—unearned, unmerited and undeserved favor—available to all who will receive Him. The Bible speaks of good tidings of great joy, which have been made available to all people! (Luke 2:10) And it is His Grace that empowers us and enables us to live successful, victorious and prosperous lives!
And so I pray this little video will be a blessing to you! Be on the lookout for more online content including videos and audios as we head into 2019. As our ministry continues to grow here locally, the Lord has put it on my heart to grow and expand our online ministry as well. Our aim is to reach as many people as possible with this Gospel of Grace!
Thank you all who are a part of our online community! You are a part of our ministry family, and we love you!
And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.
Luke 2:10-11 (KJV)
At the heart of Christmas is nothing less than the Gospel: good tidings of great joy! And the angel is proclaiming that what Jesus has come to do will be available to all people. And so by receiving Him as our Savior and Lord we enter into a finished work where anything we will ever need in this life and beyond has already been made available. As we lay hold of this by faith, we realize that He truly is the greatest gift!
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
John 3:16 (KJV)
God has already given us the greatest gift we could ever receive in bringing forth His Son into the world. By simply placing our faith in Jesus, we are delivered from everything that leads to destruction, and we receive the free gift of everlasting life. This life that Jesus came to give includes wholeness, peace, joy, soundness, safety, and every need met in spirit, soul and body.
That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.
Philemon 1:6 (KJV)
Our faith becomes effectual—it starts working—as we acknowledge the good things that are in us as a result of being in Christ Jesus. The radical truth is that in our born again spirits we have been made just like Jesus. Faith now takes what is already true about us in the spiritual, and it brings it into physical tangible manifestation.
