For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.
Romans 6:14 (KJV)
The purpose of the law of Moses was to bring people to an end of themselves. The law was given to recognize our need for a Savior. And so the law does exactly what it was designed to do: it keeps people in bondage to sin. Grace, on the other hand, liberates us from all guilt and condemnation, thereby enabling us to live right. Grace transforms us from the inside out, teaching us to live godly, victorious and overcoming lives. And grace is not a curriculum or a doctrine; grace is a Person, His name is Jesus.
